About Liz.
Liz Kincaid is a fantasy and science fiction author whose work blends mythic resonance with grounded emotional truth. She writes stories shaped by deep worldbuilding, lived-in dialogue, and the fierce bonds that hold people together in impossible circumstances. Themes of grief, resilience, legacy, and found family run through her work, giving her worlds their emotional spine.
She earned her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Eastern Kentucky University, where she focused on narrative structure, character-driven storytelling, and mythic frameworks. Known for her clean prose, immersive lore, and sharp sense of character voice, Liz builds stories that feel like coming home, full of snark, heart, and people you want to follow through entire worlds.
When she isn’t writing, Liz can usually be found crocheting elaborate projects, researching mythology or speculative science, or LARPing on weekends. She believes worldbuilding should make emotional and physical sense, and that the best stories are the ones readers return to, not for plot, but for the characters who feel like family.
She lives in Kentucky and is currently working on her debut series, Chronicle of the Scion, a mythic urban fantasy saga several years in the making.

Chronicle of the Scion:
Dead and Reborn
Pheobe Jane Williamson thought grief had already taken everything from her. Seven years after losing her husband, she’s a Scion of Heaven running on empty, cut off from her own emotions, held together by duty and muscle memory. But when a demon-ensnared hound attacks her in her own home, Pheobe learns that an old enemy has returned to Portsmouth.
Hunted by Nephilkind, besieged in her apartment, and stalked by a threat she can’t yet name, she’s forced into a war she isn’t sure she can win.
Dead and Reborn is the first book in Chronicle of the Scion, an urban-mythic fantasy series about grief, agency, found family, and the cost of fighting for the living when you’re barely hanging on yourself.
The Songs of Leanna
A sword-and-sorcery companion series rooted in myth and memory, Songs of Leanna tells the life of Leanna, a gifted but unassuming seer. Her visions guide warriors, topple tyrants, and reshape the destiny of her homeland, but they also isolate her, binding her to a future she didn’t choose. Through love, grief, and the slow unmaking of innocence, Leanna becomes the quiet fulcrum on which an entire age turns.
Tales of the Halfling Prince
Before he was a kingmaker, a rebel, or an exile, Loki was the Halfling Prince: half-Angel, half-Sidhe, wholly untamable. Tales of the Halfling Prince gathers pivotal moments from his life, bargains won and lost, friendships forged in fire, and the mistakes that would haunt him for centuries. Told through the eyes of his human descendants, each tale reveals another facet of the prince who would one day shape the fate of all Realms.
